BJP candidate Dharmendrasinh Vaghela wins Vaghodia assembly seat by-poll

Vadodara: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Dharmendrasinh Vaghela(Bapu) has won the Vaghodia assembly seat by-poll in Central Gujarat. Vaghela received 1,27,446 votes against his rival candidate Kanubhai Gohil of Congress who could get 45,338 votes. Vaghela thus stood victorious by a margin og 82,108 votes. The by-poll on this seat was necessited due to resignation of Vaghela as an independent MLA. Vaghela then rejoined BJP and contested the by-poll as BJP candidate. DeshGujarat
