Tripura and Gujarat did something for BJP in LS polls 2024 that no party could achieve anywhere

Gandhinagar: Voters of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have done something in Tripura and Gujarat that has not happened in any other State for any party in the general elections of Lok Sabha 2024.
Gujarat BJP couldn’t assure all-seat victory of party in the State in the 2024 Lok Sabha election. However the State party unit has achieved something which is not achieved in any other big State. The voters of BJP here have given 61.86 per cent vote share to BJP. It’s almost 62% but lesser than 63.50 percent in 2019. However it must be noted that out of total 26 seats, Surat seat has been won unopposed this time. If Surat had gone to polling, the vote share figure of 62% could be even greater. 62% vote share is around 9.50 percent higher than 52.50 percent vote share that BJP achieved in December 2022 Gujarat assembly elections.
But when it comes to highest vote share for any party in any state in this election, Tripura has surpassed all. A small North Eastern State Tripura has two Lok Sabha seat and both are won by BJP. But the starking detail is the vote share. BJP has achieved vote share of whopping 70.72% in Tripura. It’s unprecedental.
No other party in no State or Union Territory has achieved such huge numbers of vote share that Gujarat and Tripura have put up for BJP. This shows amazing support for the party in both States.
After Tripura and Gujarat, the third highest vote share for BJP has been witnessed in Madhya Pradesh which is 59.27%, followed by 56.81% in Uttarakhand, 56.44% in Himachal Pradesh and 54.35% in Delhi. DeshGujarat
