Vadodara: Shooting of Actor Aamir Khan’s upcoming Hindi movie is taking place in Vadodara in Gujarat.

About sixteen years ago, Aamir had given ‘Taare Zameen Par’ movie which was a hit. He is now preparing to make sequal of it titled as ‘Sitaare Zameen Parr’. Shooting of this film is taking place in Vadodara.

City’s Sama Sports complex has been rented to Aamir Khan for which Sports Authority of Gujarat will get Rs. 1 lakh rent a day.The Sports Complex is given on rent for six days. The shooting is underway at the Basket Ball court.

The film unit has also received a paid bandobast of 9 police men including 2 Police Sub Inspectors. The film unit has also deployed bouncers for another layer of security. The entry of visitors and staffers of the Sports Complex is banned. Carrying mobile phones is not allowed.

Aamir Khan on Wednesday arrived at Vadodara airport in chartered flight and stayed in Vasna-Bhayli road based hotel. The shooting of Sitare Zameen Parr began on 6 June and it will continue till June 12.

This movie is the hindi adaptation of a spanish sports drama, Campeones (2018). Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshumukh and Darsheel Safary are cast of this film. Aamir Khan recently in Instagram live said that the film is expected to release in December this year.
