Over 9 inches of rains in Khambhalia, nearly 3 inches in Porbandar

Rajkot: Khambhalia taluka in Dwarka district of Gujarat received over 9.17 inches of rains on Sunday durring 6 am to 6 pm period as per the official records of the State Emergency Operation Centre in Gandhinagar. Another Saurashtra taluka that received heavy rain was Porbandar where 2.60 inches of rain was witnessed in same period. Bhanvad and Ranavav were two more talukas in Dwarka and Porbandar districts respectively where rains beyond an inch were witnessed. As Khambhalia received five inches of rain in just two hours, water logging was seen in number of areas. In Porbandar, water logging was seen in MG road, Chhaya chokdi, Virdi plot, Kumbharwada and other areas.DeshGujarat
