Bomb threat at Vadodara Airport prompts stricter security measures

Vadodara: Vadodara Airport today received an email threatening to blow up the airport, prompting immediate action by authorities. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and local police have launched extensive checks inside and outside the airport to ensure safety.
Upon receiving the threatening email, the airport authority informed local police. The police fleet and CISF personnel began checking all vehicles and passengers entering the airport. Bomb and dog squads were deployed for thorough inspections inside the airport. During the vehicle checks, an electric device was found in one car, which was denied entry, and the driver was sent back from the airport gate.
The bomb threat has led to heightened security measures, with every passenger being thoroughly checked before admission into the airport. Two fire brigade vehicles have also been stationed at the airport as a precaution. Investigating agencies, including the Harani Police, are actively involved in the ongoing security operations to address the situation and ensure the safety of all passengers and staff at the airport.
