Clip of Lawrence Bishnoi’s Video call from Sabarmati jail surfaces

Sabarmati: Footage of a video call by Lawrence Bishnoi from Sabarmati Central Jail has surfaced online. The origin of video or its date can’t be confirmed yet but it is probably in Pakistan. The video raises various questions, as the use of mobile phone is banned in the jail for prisoners.

In the video that has gone viral, Lawrence Bishnoi can be seen conveying Bakra Eid wishes to a person, possibly a Pakistan based criminal over a video call. The Pakistani criminal on the other side of the call is identified as gangster Shahzad Bhatti.

Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad(ATS) has arrested Bishnoi through transfer warrant in drugs case. He is in Sabarmati jail where the use of mobile phone is banned for prisoners.

The video has been posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) by General Secretary Shiromani Akali Dal Bikram Singh Majithia. He said in his post, “Earlier, notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi murdered Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Recently, Bishnoi wished Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti on Eid from Gujarat Jail, demonstrating his ability to operate freely behind bars. Despite giving a live interview from Punjab Jail, Punjab’s CM and Home Minister Bhagwant Mann formed an SIT to investigate, but the probe shows ZERO RESULTS. His gang continues to threaten Salman Khan, with multiple attacks on Khan’s residence. Such activities pose significant risks to public safety when gangsters can act without restraint even while incarcerated.”

In reply to media person’s query regarding this, the State government’s Spokesperson minister Rushikeshbhai Patel said such incident if has occured is not good. The Jail administration is going to hold a press conference in this regard later today, it is learnt. DeshGujarat
