GPCB installs 3 more cloth bag ATMs in Gujarat on International Plastic Bag Free Day

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) installed three more cloth bag ATMs today to mark International Plastic Bag Free Day.
These machines are now operational at Radhekrishna Mandir- Bhadaj, Maninagar- Ahmedabad, and Nana Ambaji- Khedbrahma. The ATMs dispense large cloth bags priced at Rs.10 each, aimed at reducing plastic pollution in Gujarat.
Mr. Barad, GPCB Chairman emphasized the initiative’s role in promoting environmental sustainability by encouraging the use of cloth bags instead of plastic. He announced plans to expand the project to Yatradham Somnath, Dwarka, Shamlaji, and Salagpur Hanuman in the near future. DeshGujarat
