Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) today announced the closure of a portion of Club 07 Road. The road connecting Sardar Patel Ring Road to Orchid Sky Building on Club 07 road will be closed for 45 days, starting tomorrow.

In an official statement, AUDA said, “Due to the extremely heavy rainfall (approximately 7.50 inches) on 30/06/2024, the road has collapsed on S.P. Ring Road from Applewood Service Road to the gate of Orchid Sky Building to Sky Arcade Crossroad. Additionally, due to ongoing work on the gravity and main sewerage lines, necessary traffic diversions will be implemented as a precautionary measure. This work is expected to last for 45 days, and alternative traffic movement will be arranged as shown in the map published by AUDA.”

According to the map, the closure will affect traffic from S.P. Ring Road to Orchid Sky Building on Club 07 Road. Alternative access routes include VIP Road for reaching Club 07 and Orchid Blues.
