Ahmedabad: A commotion ensued at Ahmedabad Airport late Wednesday night as SpiceJet’s flight from Ahmedabad to Dubai was delayed for more than 9 hours. Today, the flight is again facing a delay; according to the airport website, today’s flight is also delayed by 9 hours.

Flight SG 015 from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport to Dubai International Airport, which was scheduled to take off at 4:35 pm on July 10th, was delayed and took off at 1:50 am today, July 11th.

Due to this delay, around 100-150 passengers were left stranded and frustrated. A video of an argument between passengers and SpiceJet staff went viral, with some passengers demanding a refund of their ticket money.

In the latest development, today’s flight between Ahmedabad and Dubai has also been delayed. According to the airport website, the flight scheduled to take off at 4:35 pm today will now take off around 12:50 am on July 12th.
