Juhapura based land mafia gang members booked under GujCTOC

Ahmedabad: The Economic Crime Prevention Department of the city police’s Crime Branch has arrested Juhapura land mafia Mohammad Ismail and three of his accomplices for forging documents of Nikol based land and demanding Rs 12 crore for settlement. The case is based on the landowner’s complaint.
The four accused would create fake documents of farming land, cause disputes, and extort crores of rupees. They had also targeted land in Nikol and demanded a settlement of Rs 12 crore from the land owner.
The case was registered against Juhapura based Mohammad Ismail alias Sajju Mohammedhanif alias Gotilal Sheikh, Tarang Dave, Niranjan Patel, and Sahil Mansuri. They now face charges under the Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime (GujCTOC) Act, 2015. DeshGujarat
