14 Gujarat students return from Bangladesh, 11 more to return next, helpline announced

Gandhinagar: As many as 14 Gujarat origin students are back from Bangladesh safely due to the efrorts of the State and the Central governments. The process to bring 11 more is underway. Contact has been established with 25 students from Gujarat in violence-hit Bangladesh where youths are protesting against job quota.
At the State government level, the Bin Nivasi Gujarati Foundation is handling the affairs. The helpline number for the same is 99784 30075. The parents or family members can share the details of those stuck in Bangladesh on an email id – nrgfoundation@gujarat.gov.in also.
So far 25 Gujarat origin students in Bangladesh are contacted by the government and arrangements are made for their safe return. Among them 14 returned to Gujarat. Among them 7 are from Bharuch district, 2 each from Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar and 1 each from Amreli, Mahesana and Patan. The arrangements are being made for safe return of 11 more Gujarat students from Bangladesh.
