Bullet Train Project: Track construction begins on Surat – Bilimora section

Ahmedabad: The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has commenced the construction of bullet train tracks near Surat.
NHSRCL officials have confirmed that track-laying activities are now underway. As previously announced, the Surat-Bilimora segment will be the first to start operations on this route.
According to NHSRCL, more than 30 km of RC track beds are complete, and track laying has begun on this section. Track slabs are ready for approximately 70 km of the route. The contract for the segment from Ahmedabad to Vapi, which includes track laying, has been awarded. Work will commence on laying the tracks as soon as the track bed is completed. DeshGujarat
