Aravalli: The local police have nabbed a Bangladeshi youth who was living in Ramas of Bayad taluka for engaging in suspicious activities. Upon investigation, authorities found anti-India content on the mobile phone of the youth, identified as Mohammad Rahab.
A social media post titled “Boycott India Product” was found on his mobile phone, raising suspicion among the villagers, who then reported the matter to the police. The police detained the youth with a passport and are carrying out further investigation. It is learned that he has been attempting to obtain an Aadhaar card since last week.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the police is interrogating the youth and is also probing how he entered the country, who assisted him, and how he reached Ramas village in Bayad. They are investigating whose house he stayed in and other related details.
The suspected youth is caught at a time when attacks on Hindus, who are a minority in Bangladesh, have been on the rise following the resignation of Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina last week. DeshGujarat
