Head of cow found; Hindus in Borsad to hold protest march

Borsad: Hindus in Central Gujarat’s Borsad town will march in a rally protesting the incident in which a head of slaughtered cow was found from Tekariyapura area of the town on Monday. The rally will raise the voice against the slaughter of bovine. A memorandum will be presented at Mamlatdar office to Prant Officer at the end of the march.
Police have collected samples of the head of slaughtered cow through Forensic and Veterinary teams. Whether it was the head of the bullock or a cow is not clear at present. The town police have started investigation through CCTV footage and technical surveillance.
The protest march today will start from Tarang petrol pump and reach Mamlatdar office. Borsad has witnessed similar incidences in the past too. Earlier the head of slaughtered cow was recovered near Vasahat and from garbage at the same place. DeshGujarat
