Who are the richest Surtis as per Hurun List 2024 ?

Surat: As per the Hurun list’s latest annual edition, Ashwin Desai of Aether Industries is the richest Surti with a wealth of Rs. 10,700 crore followed by Faruk G Patel of KP Group with wealth of Rs. 9,700 crore. While Ather Industries is into making of e-vehicles, KP Group is into green energy.
As per the Hurun List’s ranking Niraj Choksi of NJ India Investment is third top billionaire in Surat with Rs. 9600 crore wealth while Babubhai Lakhani of Kiren Gems is on fourth number with Rs. 7400 crore.
Famous diamond baron and motivator and also BJP Rajya Sabha member Govindbhai Dholakia who leads SRK Export is on 5th position with Rs. 6100 crore wealth. Jayantilal Jariwala of Colortex is at sixth position with Rs. 5300 crore wealth. Savjibhai Dholakiya, brother of Govindbhai Dholakiya and captain of Hari Krishna Exports is on 7th position with Rs. 3700 crore wealth. Laljibhai Patel of Dharmanandan Diamonds(Rs. 3600 crore), Vashrambhai Narola of SRK Export(Rs 3100 crore) ad Anand Desai of Anupam Rasayan Ltd (Rs. 2600 crore) are on 8, 9 and 10th ranks respsectively.
The other crorepatis in the list from Surat in range of Rs. 1300 crore to Rs. 2500 crore rankwise include Himmatbhai Dhoalkiya(Harikrushna export), Pragnesh Jariwala(SMC films), Ravjibhai Kakadiya, Vallabhbhai Kakadiya and Govindbhai Kakadiya(Sheetal Diamond), Dinesh Dhaknani(Reaghan Fashions Pvt Ltd), Jitendra B Shah (JB Shah & Brothers), Arjan Dholakiya(SRK Export), Shailesh B Shah(B& Brothers), Himanshu K Patel (HLE Glasscoat), Pravinchandra Kabutarwala and Maheshchandra Kabutarwala(Colortex).
