Gujarat govt to host Navratri at 9 temples, including Ambaji, Bahucharaji shaktipeeths

Ambaji: The Gujarat Government will celebrate Navratri this year at nine temples, including the renowned Ambaji and Bahucharaji Shaktipeeths. This initiative was announced by the Department of Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities, Gandhinagar.
The Department of Youth Services and Cultural Activities will host the Navratri festival from October 3 to October 11 at the renowned Ambaji Shaktipeeth in Banaskantha district, Gujarat. The festival will also take place at Bahucharaji Shaktipeeth in Mehsana district from October 3 to October 12. In addition, one-day cultural programs will be organized at seven other temple sites dedicated to the Goddess (Mataji) across the state.
Events are scheduled for October 4 at the Shri Harsiddhi Mata Temple in Devbhoomi Dwarka, October 5 at both the Shri Umiya Mata Temple in Unjha (Mehsana district) and the Shri Ashapura Mata Temple in Kutch, October 7 at the Shri Mahakali Temple in Pavagadh (Panchmahal), October 8 at the Shri Bhadrakali Temple in Ahmedabad, and October 9 at both the Shri Chamunda Mata Temple in Chotila (Surendranagar) and the Shri Modheshwari Mata Temple in Modhera (Mehsana).
During the nine-day Navratri festival, Garba performances will be held at the Shri Harsiddhi Mata Temple on October 4, led by singer Farida Mir, and at the Shri Bhadrakali Temple in Ahmedabad on October 8, featuring singer Arvind Vegda. Additionally, several singers will entertain Garba enthusiasts at seven other temples. The Department of Sports, Youth, and Cultural Activities has urged people to participate in these programs.
