Ahmedabad: Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, has launched a helpline for women’s safety during Navratri in Ahmedabad.

The organization has released a helpline called ‘Mera Bhai,’ with the number 8735873595. If a woman faces any issues, she can call this number, and help will be provided within 10 minutes, according to Bajrang Dal. If a woman experiences any incidents of eve teasing or other problems, she can seek assistance by calling this number.

The Vishva Hindu Parishad has formed eight teams of 200 workers, including 20 women, who will be active in different zones to ensure the safety of women as they return home late at night after playing garba.
