In the case of rape and murder committed by a school principal in Dahod district, the Gujarat police has obtained the necessary scientific evidence related to the crime with the help of FSL and filed a strong charge sheet within record-break short period of just 12 days to punish the accused strictly. A total of 1700 pages of charge sheet is prepared after having the statements of as many as 150 witnesses. Sharing these details, the Minister of State for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghvi has said that Special Public Prosecurot  Amit Nair has been appointed in this case.

The Minister said that Digital evidence, Forensic DNA analysis, Forensic Biological analysis have been included in the charge sheet. The special thing about it is that epithelial cells report is covered this time. Epithelial cells are the cells found in the skin and internal parts of the body, which can be found in very small quantities. When such cells are found during a crime, DNA testing confirms the suspect’s involvement in the crime if the DNA of the suspect matches these cells. This technique plays a very important role in identifying suspects and proving crimes in crime using micro evidence obtained from physical contact.

The minister further added that forensic psychological drone crime scene profiling and forensic statement analysis have also been done in this case to address the question that how this incident happened. It was done by taking a video of the road, studying the video and the statements of all the witnesses. A psychological opinion was covered on how the crime was committed.

Apart from that, the other reports include Forensic chemistry: A test to see if the child was poisoned or not.

Forensic Vehicle analysis: Car was washed to destroy the evidence, but this test has proved that such attempt was not successful.

Forensic Toxicology, Forensic Voice Spectrography: It has been recorded on the phone that the accused threatened another witness, it has been tested, so the evidence that the accused has committed the crime has also been found.
