Only Surat district receives rain in the last 24 hours

Surat: As the Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from most parts of Gujarat, rainfall has subsided in the state. During the last 24 hours ending at 8:30 am on Wednesday, only Surat district experienced some moderate downpour. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Surat received only 15.8 mm of rain, which is a little over half an inch. The rest of the 32 districts witnessed dry weather during this period.
In another update, the IMD has also predicted dry weather for the coming 7 days, as the Southwest Monsoon is likely to completely withdraw from Gujarat in the next 2-3 days. DeshGujarat
