AMTS to operate buses on three new routes on SP Ring Road

Ahmedabad: The area and population of the city are expanding day by day. With this growth, the buses of Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS), which currently operate in different parts of the city, will soon be seen plying on the SP Ring Road as well. Three new AMTS bus routes will be launched from Vaishnodevi to Aslali-Sanathal on the SP Ring Road before the Diwali festivities begin, i.e., from October 22.
AMTS buses will begin operating on these new routes in Ahmedabad. Initially, 20 buses will run on these three routes, and passengers will be able to travel at the current ticket rates.
A total of 47 bus stands have been designated on the 25.80 km route from Aslali Circle to Ranasan Circle on SP Ring Road-1. Twenty bus stands have been set on the 13.70 km route from Ranasan Circle to Vaishnodevi Circle.
AMTS buses will also operate on the 23.10 km route from Vaishnodevi Circle to Sanathal Circle on SP Ring Road-2. A shuttle bus service will also be introduced on the 14.30 km route from Sanathal Circle to Aslali Circle on SP Ring Road-2 in the coming days. DeshGujarat
