Saints call for Ahmedabad to be renamed as Karnavati
October 16, 2024
Ahmedabad: Nijanandgiri Maharaj demanded that Ahmedabad be renamed Karnavati, stating that if Ahmad Shah were alive, he would have changed the name to Karnavati after so many requests.
A Gau-sansad (cow parliament) was held in the city today in the presence of saints, mahants, and cow lovers. During this Gau-sansad, Nijanandgiri Maharaj mentioned that if Ahmad Shah were alive, he would have changed the name to Karnavati after so many demands. He further added that India is the only Hindu nation that promotes Sanatan Dharma, and not a single stone should be raised against Hindus in Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, if Hindus call the police, they are often forced to convert to Islam.
Nijanandgiri Maharaj asserted that this country belongs to Hindus, and no one has the power to stop them. He further stated that if our country is declared a Hindu nation, no one will prevent cows from becoming the mother of the nation. DeshGujarat
