Rajkot: There’s this famous word ‘Gorakh Dhandha’ for illegal and cheating activities in Gujarati language. This word is many times also used in the First Information Report (complaint) registered by police. In a gathering of saints in Rajkot on Sunday, Vadodara-based Jyotitirth Maharaj said this word ‘Gorakh Dhandha’ should be banned. He said Gorakh Nath is the God of Gorakh Sampraday, and his name must not be associated with illegal activities. The use of the word Gorakh in such a connection is completely objectionable and invalid, he added. He said as many as 3 lakh postcards will be sent to the Chief Minister, demanding a ban on the use of the word ‘Gorakh Dhandha’. Jyotitirth announced this in his speech at the Khirsara-based Aadesh ashram in a gathering of saints of the Gorakh sect. DeshGujarat
