Heavy rainfall in parts of Gujarat in next 24 hours: IMD forecast

Surat: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), in its latest forecast, has issued a yellow warning of heavy rain for the next 24 hours in some parts of Gujarat.
As per the IMD bulletin, heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat, namely Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Dang, Tapi, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli. The districts of Saurashtra, including Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and Diu, are also likely to experience heavy rain until 8:30 AM on October 22.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely in Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Morbi, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Botad, and Diu. Additionally, light rain is also expected in Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Kutch during this period.
On Tuesday, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at isolated places in all the districts of South Gujarat, namely Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli. The districts of Saurashtra, including Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, and Diu, may also see rain.
From October 23, the weather is likely to remain dry across the entire state of Gujarat, according to the IMD. DeshGujarat
