Rs. 7 crore cash recovered by Police in a car coming from Delhi to Gujarat

Abu Road; Rs. 7 crore cash was recovered from a private car at Mawal checkpost of Sirohi district in Rajasthan today evening by Abu Road Police. A car was going from Delhi to its destination in Gujarat. When checked at the inter-state check-post, Police was shocked to found Rs. 7 crore cash inside. Two persons in the car, Sanjay Rawal and Dawood Sindhi were detained by Police as they couldn’t give satisfactory reply regarding source and destination of this cash. Those detained are believe from Mahesana in North Gujarat. The cash was stored in a box beneath the driver’s seat. The cash was brought from Dhola Kuan area of Delhi and it was destined for Ahmedabad for delivery. Police had to bring in cash-counting machine to count such a big number of notes.
