Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has declared holiday in government offices including panchayat and boards/corporations on Friday, 1st November. In place of this date, the government offices will remain open and functional on the Saturday, 9th of November.

This adjustment has been made by the General Administration Department of the State government to make a way for continuous holidays in Diwali season from Thursday 31st October(Diwali) to Saturday 2nd November (Gujarati new year day) and further to 3rd November (Bhai bij). DeshGujarat
