Cognizant secures space for techfin centre in GIFT City

Ahmedabad: IT giant Cognizant has acquired 1 lakh square feet of space in GIFT SEZ, Gandhinagar, a newspaper report said today. The company plans to establish a techfin center at GIFT City, which will initially house 500 associates, with plans to scale to 2,000 employees over the next three years.
Before Cognizant, both Infosys and Wipro secured spaces for their techfin centers in the Pragya-2 tower at GIFT City. These companies are anticipated to begin operations in the first quarter of 2025.
Jaxay Shah, founder and CMD of Savvy Group, remarked, “GIFT City is rapidly emerging as a global financial services hub. Cognizant will occupy four floors in our tower and is expected to begin operations in February next year. Global companies are confident about the growth of GIFT City.” DeshGujarat
