Rupala calls groundnut a biting; video goes viral

Rajkot: In a viral video, the Rajkot Lok Sabha MP of BJP Parshottam Rupala can be seen calling groundnuts as ‘biting’ (‘Chakhna’ in Hindi which is consumed with liquor). A video of same has gone viral on the social media platforms, attracting strong as well as funny comments. The occasion was launch of purchase of groundnuts on support prices by the State government.
Rupala once one of most popular campaigners for all types of elections in Gujarat for ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), was not utilized by party outside the Rajkot Lok Sabha seat area (where he contested) due to his remarks that had triggered protests among Kshatriya community. Rupala was also not utilized by party for Vav assembly by-poll campaign recently in North Gujarat, fearing backlash from Rajput voters. DeshGujarat
