Two laborers injured in blast in Zydex company in Padra

Vadodara: Two persons were injured after a blast in Zydex Pvt Ltd company’s plant at Gavasad village in Padra near Vadodara. Both injured persons were taken to Vadodara-based Sterling Hospital for medical treatment. Zydex Pvt Ltd is involved in the production of pharma products.
A helper in the plant, Mahesh Manubhai Pathiyad (21) from Mujpur village, and Vasmi Rafik Malek (25) from Jalalpura, were adding K-1 material to a reactor mixing machine when the blast occurred, leaving both youths seriously injured. They were first taken to the local Cross Roads Hospital and then shifted to Sterling Hospital in Vadodara.
One of the two injured laborers is currently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sterling Hospital. DeshGujarat
