Complaint of molestation filed against cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara’s brother-in-law

Rajkot: A complaint of molestation has been filed against Jeet Pabari, the brother-in-law of renowned cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara, by his ex-fiancé. She has accused him of luring her with a false promise of marriage and having sexual relations with her. The complaint has been registered at the Malviya Nagar Police Station.
According to the details received, Jeet Pabari allegedly physically abused his ex-fiancé by promising marriage. Based on her complaint, a case has been filed against Jeet Pabari under Sections 376(2)(N) and 506 of the IPC at the Malviya Nagar Police Station.
In the police complaint, the 29-year-old woman claims that Jeet Pabari had sexual relations with her after luring her into marriage. However, after the engagement was broken off, Jeet Pabari allegedly ended the relationship after fulfilling his desires.
While speaking to the media, the victim said, “We came in contact in 2014 on Facebook, where he had messaged me. He asked for my phone number and to meet me, to which I said no. But later, we met and became friends. We used to study in separate colleges and knew each other from college time. Both our families also know each other.” DeshGujarat
