Gandhinagar: Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Gujarat’s Joint Spokesperson Jayesh Vyas(55) passed away on Sunday evening at his residence in Gandhinagar due to cardiac arrest. Vyas collapsed in a bathroom at around 9 pm after having dinner at home. He was taken to Gandhinagar Civil hospital where he was declared dead.

Late Jayesh Vyas was originally from Rajkot. He was early this year appointed in the Executive Council of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Vyas would appear regularly in debates on Gujarati news channels to represent the party as a panelist. He would also play a role as presenter during various events, such as poetry session in the book fair in Ahmedabad during live telecast of events such as Janmashtami in Dwarka or Rath Yatra in Ahmedabad on Doordarshan’s Gujarati channel.

Vyas was also former convenpr of intellecutal cell of Gujarat BJP. He was also a board member of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University.He was president of Brahmin Sanchar Sansthan.

The funeral procession of the deceased will depart from his residence (B4 – 203, Sahajanand City, Sardar Chowk, Kudasan
Gandhinagar) on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 8 am and proceed to Sargasan Crematorium. DeshGujarat
