Bhuj – Nakhatrana 45 km road to be developed as a four-lane high-speed corridor

Gandhinagar: Bhuj – Nakhatrana 45 km road will be developed as a four-lane high-speed corridor. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs. 937 crore for this four-lane high-speed corridor road which will facilitate travel to tourist destinations like Matana Madh – Dhordo – White Rann.

The State government in a note released here stated that Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs. 937 crore for undertaking a project to develop a 45 km road from Bhuj, the headquarters of Kutch district, to Nakhatrana as a four-lane high-speed corridor.

This road is presently 10-meter wide. After becoming a high-speed corridor, it will provide greater convenience for transportation to the famous pilgrimage site of Matana Madh, as well as tourist destinations like Narayan Sarovar, Dhordo and White Rann in the future.

This road is also the most important road connecting the international border of India/Pakistan and Panandhro Lignite Mines. DeshGujarat
