Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has today announced the launch of the ‘Connect Gujar@t’  initiataive “to take its pro-people works to the people by creating a statewide social media network, starting from the rural level to the state level”.

According to a note released by the State government, the campaign is being launched today to mark Sushasan Divas (Good Governance Day). The note further informs that the Connect Gujar@t network will reach out to the people through social media and inform them about the works done by the State government and various programs. The government will also be able to get feedback for any lapses.

As part of this initiative, a dedicated team with office and number of computers has been set up in Gandhinagar. The government aims to penetrate the social media massively through active social media handles of each local body of self governance, administrative office and more. DeshGujarat
