Bhavnagar to get three new flyover bridges
December 31, 2024
Bhavnagar: In-principle approval has been granted for three new flyover bridges in Bhavnagar to address the increasing traffic issues in the city. A budget of Rs 150 crore has been sanctioned for these projects.
Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee Chairman, Rajubhai Rabadiya, stated, “One of the bridges will be constructed at Dukhishyam Bapa Circle, another at Leela Circle, and in the next phase, a flyover will be built at Mantresh Complex, which connects to the airport via Ghogha Road.”
Meanwhile, Congress leader Prakash Vaghani remarked, “I believe that the old overbridge should be completed first. The bridge was supposed to be built in 24 months, but now it’s been 40 months, and the work is still unlikely to be completed in the next 12-13 months.” DeshGujarat
