Not division, this is birth of a new district: Shankar Chaudhary on formation of Vav-Tharad

Tharad: Gujarat Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary today welcomed the Gujarat government’s decision regarding the formation of the new Tharad-Vav district. Addressing a public rally in Tharad, Shankar Chaudhary said, “From the large Banaskantha district, a new district has been formed, which will lead to development in the border areas, including Dhanera, Deodar, Vav, Tharad, Suigam, and nearby regions. This is not a division of the district; it is the formation of a new district. Sometimes, the media refers to it as a division, but it is not. It is the creation of a new district. Just like when a mother gives birth to a child, it is not vibhajan (division) but the birth of a new life; similarly, a new district has been born.”
The Tharad MLA further stated, “This is a work of development, and we must take it forward. We need to make this border district one of the leading districts in the country. I also request the people of the Vav-Tharad district to refrain from making any incorrect statements.”
He added, “People from other regions have asked me to include their areas in this district. Some people from Rajasthan also approached me, saying, ‘Do something and include us too.’ Just yesterday, people from Santalpur told me, ‘Now that a new district has been created, merge us into it as well.’ So many people want to join us because they have immense love for the public of these talukas.” He also stated that with over 40 new offices to be set up in the new district, the people have to work together for the development.
