‘I thank Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi for realizing such a huge statue. When I saw this statue for the first time, I was thrilled and my hair stood on end. Every person in the country should definitely visit this place. My grandfather Maulana Azad was also a freedom fighter. The kind of struggles the citizens of the country fought for freedom can be understood by visiting this complex. I will come here again with my children. By visiting here, you will get to know and read about Sardar Saheb and it gives you inspiration and a new direction.’
He further said that the atmosphere here is amazing. ‘I have been to this area many times. Many changes have taken place in so many decades. Vadodara has also become very big. It has become a modern city. Gujarat is a historical province. Along with this, there is also a lot of natural beauty here. The film industry has been working here and films are still being shot. Gujarat is a wonderful state, there are huge opportunities here for the film industry.’ DeshGujarat
