UP bound passenger held at Ahmedabad airport with Gold hidden in luggage trolley

Ahmedabad: A passenger at Ahmedabad airport was held with Rs. 35.36 lakh worth of gold after he arrived from Sharjah on an Air Arabia flight. On Thursday morning, a Uttar Pradesh-bound passenger was caught by the Customs department as he was in possession of 399.460 grams of 24-karat gold. He had placed the gold in the handle of a luggage trolley. The passenger was from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
