Anand: In good news for passengers, the Vande Bharat Express train now has an additional stoppage at Anand Station. This stoppage has been introduced for Train No. 20901/20902 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express on an experimental basis starting today. Due to this addition, minor changes have been made to the train’s schedule at Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad stations.

As per a press release issued by Western Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Vineet Abhishek, Train No. 20901 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express will now arrive at Anand Station at 10:38 hrs and depart at 10:40 hrs, with no changes to its schedule at other stations. On the return journey, Train No. 20902 Gandhinagar Capital – Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express will arrive at Anand Station at 15:30 hrs and depart at 15:32 hrs.

The train’s halt at Ahmedabad has been rescheduled, with arrival now at 14:45 hrs and departure at 14:55 hrs, instead of the earlier 14:50/15:00 hrs. The arrival time at Mumbai Central has also been adjusted to 20:30 hrs instead of 20:25 hrs.

Fare for the journey:

The basic fare from Anand to Mumbai is ₹1,250 for AC Chair Car and ₹2,270 for Executive Class. In the reverse direction, the fare from Mumbai to Anand is ₹1,085 for Chair Car and ₹2,075 for Executive Chair Car. Since Vande Bharat Express is a premium-category train, dynamic pricing will also be applicable to ticket fares.
