Rajkot: A young doctor from Tamil Nadu has reportedly died by suicide in Rajkot. The deceased, identified as Arunkumar Selvaraj (26), was working as a radiologist at Sterling Hospital in Ahmedabad. Due to the absence of two employees at Sterling Hospital in Rajkot, he had temporarily been assigned there.

On March 23, the young doctor went to Nyari Dam, where he allegedly jumped into the water, leading to his death. His body was later found floating in the dam. The police recovered his Sterling Hospital ID card from the scene and initiated an investigation. Reports suggest that he had been living in Ahmedabad and was temporarily working at Sterling Hospital’s radiology department in Rajkot. The Taluka Police have launched a probe into the incident.
