Janjati Kalyan Ashram Gujarat welcomes passing of Waqf (Amendment) Bill in Lok Sabha

Ahmedabad: The Waqf (Amendment) Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha around 2 AM this morning, with 288 votes in favor and 232 against. Today, the Janjati Kalyan Ashram of Gujarat welcomed the passing of the bill and congratulated the central government.

“The Janjati Kalyan Ashram, Gujarat unit of the All India Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, had earlier submitted a memorandum to the JPC, presenting the concerns of tribal communities.
