Amul launches “world’s highest protein Kulfi”

Anand: Amul high protein kulfi was launched on 25th Apr’25 in Kolkata. Amul said every high protein mango flavoured kulfi contains 10g protein with only 57 calories. It is low fat, lactose free, prebiotic, provides 100 million CFU probiotics and has no added sugar. Priced at Rs 40 for a 60g pack, it will be soon launched on Amul’s all oIicial q-comm partners. Jayen Mehta, Managing Director, Amul told us that “he is excited for this innovation and many more upcoming high protein products such as paratha, sandwich, snacks, ice cream, coffee, etc. to ensure that every Indian gets at least 1g protein per kg bodyweight every day”.
Amul high protein range available only on Amul’s D2C site shop.amul.com was launched in 2022, comprises of India’s first plain lactose free WPC with 25 g protein in single serve sachet of 32g with no added sweetener, color or flavor, lactose free chocolate WPC, high protein paneer with 25% protein (Rs 150|205g), high protein dahi with 25g protein (Rs 70|400g), and many more high protein products.
Amul said its these products have been designed with the intent to maximize protein calorie to overall calorie ratio so that people can consume protein without taking in extra calories from carbohydrates and fats which they anyway get from their regular diet. With functional benefits such as lactose free, no added sugar, low fat or fat free, less than 100 calories, and many more, everyone can find a product that suits their requirements.
Amul further pointed out that every day, it collects over 350 lac liters of milk and is also the largest manufacturer of cheese in the country thus it has ample milk protein to make the finest quality high protein products which naturally fit in Indian diet. DeshGujarat
