Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government today announced a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 18 IAS officers across various departments. Key changes include the appointment of D.D. Jadeja as Mission Director of the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission and N.V. Upadhyay as Collector of Gir-Somnath.

Here is the full list of transferred IAS officers:

(1) D.D. Jadeja, IAS (SCS:GJ:2012), Collector, Gir-Somnath is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Science & Technology Department for appointment as Mission Director, Gujarat State Bictechnology Mission, Gandhinagar.

(2) N.V. Upadhyay, IAS (SCS:GJ:2013), Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Collector, Gir-Somnath vice Shri D.D.Jadeja, IAS transferred.

(3) Nitin V. Sangwan, IAS (RR:GJ:2016), District Development Officer, Junagadh is transferred and appointed as Director of Employment & Training, Gandhinagar relieving Shri K.D. Lakhani, IAS of additional charge of that post.

(4) C.C. Kotak, IAS (SCS:GJ:2018), Deputy Director, Regional Training Centre (SPIPA), Mehsana is transferred and appointed as Deputy Director General, Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA), Ahmedabad relieving Shri Vijaykumar Lalubhai Kharadi, IAS of additional charge of that post.

Patel, IAS (SCS:GJ:2019), Joint Secretary, Gujarat Public Service Commission, Gandhinagar is transferred and her services are placed at the disposal of Urban Development & Urban Housing Department for appointment as Additional Commissioner and Ex-officio Chief Executive Officer, Gujarat Municipal Finance Board, Gandhinagar.

Ninama, IAS (SCS:GJ:2020), Deputy Commissioner, Olo, the Commissioner of Rural Development, Gandhinagar is transferred and her services are placed at the disposal of Women & Child Development Department for appointment as Director (Women Welfare) and Managing Director, Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation, Gandhinagar relieving Ms. Rita Pandya, GAS of additional charge of that post.
