Gujarat govt deploys 154 medical officers in border districts amid emergency

Gandhinagar: In view of the current unforeseen situation across the country and the state, the Gujarat government, in a proactive step to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services in sensitive areas, has issued orders to deploy over 150 Class-2 medical officers in six border districts of the state.
As per the official notification issued by the Chief Personnel Officer (Health Department), Office of the Commissioner, Health, Medical Services, and Medical Education, these 154 doctors working across state-run hospitals have been temporarily assigned to districts including Jamnagar, Porbandar, Devbhumi Dwarka, Banaskantha, Patan, and Kutch. These postings are being made in the public interest and will remain in effect until further orders are issued.
