HM Amit Shah on Gujarat visit to launch several projects in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is on a two-day visit to his home state of Gujarat starting today. During his visit, he is scheduled to participate in several public events, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple development projects in his Lok Sabha constituency of Gandhinagar.

As per the official schedule, Amit Shah will inaugurate a series of development projects in Gandhinagar on Saturday evening. At 4:30 PM, he will inaugurate the newly constructed Primary Health Centre in Vavol, followed by the inauguration of the newly built underbridge connecting Sectors 21 and 22 of Gandhinagar at 4:45 PM. At 5:00 PM, Shah will inaugurate another Primary Health Centre in Pethapur. Later, he will inaugurate the renovated and beautified Kolavada Pond. Finally, at 5:30 PM, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various development works undertaken by the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation and the Department of Posts in Kolavada.

On Sunday, Shah will participate in a cooperative sector convention at Science City in Ahmedabad. He is also expected to inaugurate a nursing college and a frozen potato processing facility in Mehsana. Later in the day, he will inaugurate an overbridge constructed by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) near Pallav Cross Roads in Naranpura, which has been built at a cost of over ₹116 crore.

According to the AMC, Shah is set to inaugurate 32 development projects worth ₹385.24 crore in the city on May 18. AMC Standing Committee Chairman Devang Dani said Shah will also lay the foundation stone for 60 additional projects valued at ₹1,199.32 crore on Sunday. DeshGujarat
