Northern Railways announces Delhi – Bihar Summer Special trains to Saharsa & Darbhanga

New Delhi: In view of increased travel demand during the summer season, Indian Railways has announced the operation of special reserved express trains between Delhi and various cities in Bihar. These trains will run for a limited period to ensure hassle-free travel for passengers.

Train 04058/04057 New Delhi–Saharsa Reserved Summer Special Express

Train No. 04058 will depart from New Delhi at 19:30 hrs every Tuesday and Friday from May 20 to July 11, 2025 (16 trips). In the return direction, Train No. 04057 will depart Saharsa Junction at 19:50 hrs every Wednesday and Saturday from May 21 to July 12, 2025.

The train will stop at Govindpuri, Prayagraj Jn., Varanasi Jn., Ghazipur City, Ballia, Suraimanpur, Chhapra Jn., Hajipur Jn., Shahpur Patoree, Barauni Jn., Begusarai, Khagaria Jn., and Mansi Jn. in both directions.

Coach composition includes AC 3-tier, Sleeper class, and General class.

Train 04072/04071 Delhi Jn.–Darbhanga Reserved Summer Special Express

Train No. 04072 will leave Delhi Junction at 11:00 hrs every Monday and Thursday from May 19 to July 10, 2025 (16 trips). Train No. 04071 will depart Darbhanga at 13:30 hrs every Tuesday and Friday from May 20 to July 11, 2025.

The train will halt at Aligarh Jn., Kanpur Central, Unnao Jn., Lucknow, Sultanpur Jn., Jaunpur City, Varanasi Jn., Aunrihar Jn., Ghazipur City, Ballia, Suraimanpur, Chhapra Jn., Hajipur Jn., Muzaffarpur Jn., and Samastipur Jn. in both directions.

Coach composition includes AC 3-tier, Sleeper class, and General class.
