Mehsana: The first edition of the ‘Dharoi Adventure Fest’ will be held at Dharoi Dam in Satlasana taluka of Mehsana district starting May 23, 2025. The event will be inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at 9:30 AM.

Organized by the Gujarat Tourism Department in association with the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), the event will include over ten land, water, and aerial activities. According to Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera, the festival will feature activities such as power boating, parasailing, paramotoring, rock climbing, trekking, hiking, mountain biking, and camping.

The event will also include evening cultural programs, star gazing, astronomy camps, nature walks, and photography tours.

For visitor accommodation, an air-conditioned tent facility has been set up, comprising 21 tents across several categories, including Darbari, premium, and deluxe options, as well as a dormitory with over 100 beds. A dining hall has also been established on-site.

The Minister stated that arrangements have been made for health services, certified equipment, and fire safety measures.

The event marks the first instance of such a tourism-focused activity at Dharoi Dam, and is part of the state’s broader initiative to develop adventure tourism infrastructure.
