Fire breaks out in Adani Shantigram; two women rescued

Ahmedabad: A fire broke out in a high-rise residential building in the Adani Shantigram township on Friday. Two residents were rescued from the affected flat, and fortunately, no casualties were reported as the fire department successfully doused the blaze.
The incident occurred in the morning in a flat on the 7th floor of Tower E of the Meadows building, located in Adani Shantigram, near Vaishnodevi Circle. Upon receiving the alert, four fire brigade vehicles along with officials rushed to the spot. The team managed to bring the fire under control with the help of the building’s in-built fire safety system. Two women who were present inside the flat at the time of the fire were safely rescued. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported in the incident.
According to fire department officials, the team immediately rushed to the site after receiving a message about the fire. Upon arrival, it was found that the fire originated near the television in the drawing room, possibly due to an electrical short circuit. The team used the building’s fire safety system to douse the flames. The fire had started spreading towards the bedroom, but the brigade was able to control it before it could cause further damage.
Although there were no injuries or loss of life, the fire caused significant damage to property. Officials said an investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the fire. DeshGujarat
