Ahmedabad Police raid PG flat near Shivranjani, detain 7 for liquor party

Ahmedabad: Satellite Police raided a Paying Guest (PG) flat near Shivranjani crossroads in the city’s Satellite area late Sunday night, June 29, busting a liquor party involving 7 individuals, including a woman. The group was reportedly drinking together when police arrived following a tip-off.
It is learnt that several people live in the Paying Guest (PG) accommodation at the Sath Sangath apartment in the Shivranjani area. Satellite Police received information that some PG residents were creating a nuisance and using foul language. Acting on the tip-off, the police raided a flat and found that people were having a liquor party together, including two women.
All individuals present were found to be intoxicated and were detained for further legal action under prohibition laws. Police confirmed that two of the women were from the Northeast, and a vodka bottle was also recovered from the scene. DeshGujarat
