Look who was on morning run at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad today

Ahmedabad: Look who was at the Sabarmati Riverfront this morning for jogging. A green T-shirt man you can see in the picture is Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir Omar Abdullah. Omar is the visit to Gujarat for promotion of tourism in J&K in connection with a tourism fair which is underway in the State capital Gandhinagar.

In a tweet Omar stated – ‘While in #Ahmedabad for a tourism event I took advantage of being here to get my morning run at the famed Sabarmati River Front promenade. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve been able to run & it was a pleasure to get to share it with so many other walkers/runners. I even managed to run past the amazing Atal Foot Bridge.’

Omar last evening met Gujarat Chief Minister at latter’s bungalow in Gandhinagar. He is going to visit the Statue of Unity at Kevadiya. He is also scheduled to address a press conference in Ahmedabad later today. Though in opposition group, Omar has been softer to ruling dispensation recently, and the itinerary of his visit while in being in Gujarat to grand infrastructures that the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi created such as Sabarmati Riverfront and Statue of Unity signal same.
