Godhra: Panic spread in the old post office area of Godhra town on Sunday morning after a stray bull charged at pedestrians and police personnel. The incident occurred during a foot march organised by Panchmahal police ahead of Ganesh Visarjan.
According to eyewitnesses, the bull, which has been roaming the area for several days, suddenly ran onto the road and attacked passersby. Members of the police foot patrol team, including Superintendent of Police Dr. Hareshbhai Dudhat, had to run to safety to avoid being injured.
Local traders and residents said the bull has been creating a nuisance in the locality for a long time. They have demanded that authorities catch the animal and shift it to a cattle pound. Police said action has been initiated to resolve the issue. DeshGujarat
