Play based on PM Modi’s life to see performance by 400 artists in Surat

Surat: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will begin its Seva Pakhwada on September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ahead of this, on September 7, a play based on the life of PM Modi will be staged at the Sarsana Trade Centre in the city. Around 400 artists will perform together in the production, and preparations for the event are already in full swing.
On Monday, Surat city BJP president Paresh Patel held a meeting regarding the upcoming Namotsav programme scheduled for September 7 and the activities under Seva Pakhwada beginning September 17. The meeting, attended by corporators, ward presidents, general secretaries, education committee officials, and the IT-social media team, focused on suggestions and detailed plans for the month-long series of programmes.
According to the announcement, the play will be staged at 7 pm on Sunday, September 7, at the main hall of the Sarsana Trade Centre, which spans 1.16 lakh sq. metres. Citizens can attend the programme, but entry will be allowed only through invitation cards, which can be collected from the BJP office in Udhna. Similar to the popular play Janta Raja, based on the life of Shivaji Maharaj, this live production on PM Modi’s life is expected to draw significant public interest. DeshGujarat
